Role & Functions of the Committee

  1. Certificate Course Planning: Identify, design, and propose certificate/short-term courses relevant to students’ academic and skill needs.
  2. Curriculum Development: Prepare course structure, learning outcomes, session plans, and evaluation methods.
  3. Faculty & Resource Selection: Recommend internal/external experts, instructors, and trainers for certificate courses.
  4. Approval Process: Prepare proposals for certificate courses and submit them to the Principal/IQAC/Management for approval.
  5. Scheduling & Coordination: Plan course timelines, duration, class schedule, and venue arrangements.
  6. Assessment & Certification: Conduct evaluations, collect assignments, and maintain exam records for issuing certificates.
  7. Industry/Institution Linkage: Coordinate with external agencies for value-added courses, internships, or collaborative certificates.
  8. Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from students and instructors for course improvement.
  9. Documentation: Maintain course files, attendance, assessment records, budget details, and final report.
  10. Report Submission: Prepare an annual report on all certificate courses conducted.
  11. Coordination: Communicate with heads of departments, instructors, and external resource persons.
  12. Approval & Budget Proposal: Recommend course budgets, resource needs, honorarium details, and submit to Principal/Management.
  13. Monitoring & Review: Supervise the conduct of courses, ensure timely completion, and address operational issues.
  14. Certification Oversight: Approve final evaluation reports and authorize issuance of certificates.
  15. Reporting: Present course outcomes and annual progress reports to Principal/IQAC.
  16. Course Support: Assist in course design, logistics planning, and preparation of study materials.
  17. Assessment Assistance: Help in conducting exams/quizzes/practicals and tabulating results.
  18. Communication: Update students and departments about schedules, changes, and announcements.
  19. Documentation: Maintain course files, attendance sheets, feedback forms, and examination records.
  20. Quality Monitoring: Ensure smooth execution of each session and gather feedback for improvements.
  21. Support to Chairman: Assist in preparing reports, certificates, and follow-up documents.
