The BSc Computer Science (Grants-in-Aid) program is affiliated with Veer Narmad South Gujarat University and adheres to the National Education Policy (NEP-2020) guidelines, providing a flexible and inclusive learning environment. The Computer Science Department has a 38 years proud history of academic excellence, evolving to meet the dynamic needs of the IT industry in India & Abroad. Program Structure:

A three-year program with a fourth-year Honours option for advanced specialization.

Offers multi-level entry and exit options:

·         Bachelor’s Degree (3^rd Year Completion)

·         Honours Degree (4^th Year Completion)

Eligibility for BSc Computer Science (Grants-in-Aid) Program

To be eligible for admission to the BSc Computer Science (Honours) program at Narmada College of Science & Commerce, candidates must meet the following criteria as per the Veer Narmad South Gujarat University guidelines:

Educational Qualification:

o   Candidates must have passed the 12th (H.S.C.) Examination in the Science stream from the Gujarat Higher Secondary Education Board (GHSEB) or any equivalent board such as CBSE or ICSE.

o   English must be one of the subjects in the qualifying examination.

o   Candidates who have completed a Diploma in a relevant field are eligible as per the norms of the Gujarat Government.

o   Candidates from boards other than GHSEB must possess an provisional eligibility certificate before admission from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University – Surat.

Focuses on programming languages (C, C++, C#.Net, Java, PHP, Python), data structures, web development, database management, cloud computing, machine learning, and IoT. Practical learning through hands-on major & minor projects
