Role & Functions of the Committee
- Overall Administration of Examinations â Supervises planning and smooth conduct of all internal and external examinations.
- Policy & Compliance â Ensures adherence to University guidelines, UGC norms, and institutional examination rules.
- Exam Scheduling Approval â Reviews and approves timetables, seating arrangements, block allocations, and supervision duties.
- Coordination with Principal â Communicates key requirements regarding manpower, resources, and security measures.
- Confidential Work Supervision â Oversees handling of question papers, answer books, and confidential materials.
- Monitoring & Review â Evaluates the functioning of the exam cell, internal assessment processes, and record maintenance.
- Documentation â Ensures proper preservation of exam records, result sheets, and reports for audit and compliance.
- Exam Preparation Support â Assist in preparing timetables, block lists, invigilation schedules, and student seating arrangements.
- Conduct of Examinations â Ensure discipline, punctuality, and smooth functioning during internal and external exams.
- Invigilation Duties â Perform examination supervision with fairness, strictness, and adherence to exam rules.
- Question Paper & Answer Book Handling â Assist in printing, sealing, distribution, and collection of exam materials with confidentiality.
- Record Maintenance â Support documentation of attendance sheets, mark records, internal assessment data, and exam-related files.
- Result Preparation Assistance â Help in compiling marks, verifying results, and error-free submission of data to the university.
- Malpractice Prevention â Monitor examination halls to prevent unfair means and report irregularities.
- Logistics Support â Assist in arranging stationery, exam rooms, displays, notices, and required exam infrastructure.
- Conduct all internal tests, prelims, assignments, and practical examinations.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of question papers and exam materials.
- Coordinate external examinations as per university circulars and schedules.
- Maintain detailed exam records, mark sheets, moderation files, and reports.
- Implement a smooth, transparent, and student-friendly exam system.
- Address all exam-related issues with fairness and prompt action.
- Prepare and submit data for audits, NAAC, IQAC, and university requirements.
