Role & Functions of the Committee

  1. Program Planning: Identify essential life skills, soft skills, communication skills, and employability skills required for students.
  2. Course Module Design: Develop structured training modules such as communication skills, personality development, resume building, interview skills, teamwork, leadership, and digital literacy.
  3. Trainer Selection: Collaborate with the Commissionerate of Higher Education (CHE), external trainers, and certified agencies.
  4. Scheduling Sessions: Prepare academic-year-wise schedules, time slots, and batches for training programs.
  5. Student Enrollment: Coordinate registration, maintain records, and create batches for participating students.
  6. Session Management: Arrange venues, ICT facilities, attendance systems, and materials required for training.
  7. Monitoring & Evaluation: Conduct pre-test and post-test assessments to measure skill enhancement.
  8. Documentation: Maintain records of sessions, attendance, trainer feedback, student performance, and expenditure.
  9. Certification: Ensure proper issuance of completion certificates to eligible students.
  10. Facilitator Management: Finalize trainers and ensure that sessions run smoothly as per guidelines.
  11. Reporting to Authorities: Submit program documentation, financial details, and outcome reports to the Principal/CHE/IQAC.
  12. Quality Assurance: Ensure that training maintains quality standards and benefits students effectively.
  13. Trainer Coordination: Communicate with trainers regarding schedules, logistics, and requirements.
  14. Logistics Management: Arrange classrooms, ICT tools, projectors, seating arrangements, and other resources.
  15. Assessment Assistance: Help administer pre-test/post-test evaluations and compile results.
  16. Documentation: Maintain session-wise reports, feedback forms, photo records, and expenditure documents.
  17. Student Support: Guide students regarding schedules, course requirements, and certification criteria.
  18. Feedback Collection: Collect feedback from students and trainers for quality enhancement.
  19. Support to Chairman: Assist in preparing reports, financial statements, and submissions to CHE/IQAC.
  20. Coordination During Events: Support special workshops, mock interviews, and expert sessions.
