Role & Functions of the Committee
- Provide overall leadership for quality enhancement and assurance in the institution.
- Approve IQAC plans, policies, AQAR reports and quality initiatives.
- Ensure all activities align with NAAC guidelines and institutional vision.
- Oversee functioning of sub-committees, academic audits and documentation.
- Facilitate resource allocation for quality-related activities and reforms.
- Review progress of teaching-learning, research, extension and student support.
- Sign and submit AQAR, IIQA, SSR and other NAAC-related documents.
- Support continuous improvement through monitoring and feedback.
- Coordinate all IQAC activities and act as the central point for quality processes.
- Develop quality benchmarks for academic and administrative activities.
- Prepare and maintain AQAR, academic audit documents and compliance reports.
- Organize IQAC meetings, record minutes and ensure timely follow-up.
- Conduct feedback collection, analysis and action-taking across stakeholders.
- Monitor teaching plans, learning outcomes, research activities and best practices.
- Facilitate workshops, FDPs, quality initiatives and institutional innovations.
- Maintain digital and physical documentation for NAAC and internal audits.
- Contribute inputs for quality improvement in academics and administration.
- Assist in preparation of AQAR metrics, data templates and departmental evidence.
- Support curriculum development, teaching-learning enhancements and ICT usage.
- Implement and monitor best practices, student-centric initiatives and mentoring systems.
- Participate in audits, evaluations, feedback analysis and quality review meetings.
- Ensure timely submission of departmental data for NAAC SSR/AQAR.
- Promote research, extension activities, collaborations and community engagement.
- Assist in monitoring institutional policies: green campus, gender equity, safety, etc.
