About Us

Welcome to the NCC Unit of Narmada College of Science & Commerce, affiliated with the prestigious 2-Gujarat Naval NCC Unit, Vadodara. Our unit is dedicated to nurturing young minds and developing leadership qualities, discipline, and a sense of patriotic duty among students.

Our Mission

Our mission is to create a pool of motivated, disciplined, and responsible young citizens who are well-equipped to serve the nation in various capacities. We aim to foster a spirit of adventure, teamwork, and resilience through rigorous training and activities.

Training & Activities

Regular Drills

Our cadets undergo regular drills that focus on physical fitness, precision, and coordination. These drills are designed to instill a sense of discipline and teamwork among cadets.

Swimming Training

Second year NCC cadets engage in intensive swimming lessons with support of GNFC’s S & R Club, focusing on developing essential aquatic skills and techniques. This training not only boosts their physical fitness but also builds confidence and prepares them for various water-based activities and challenges.

Camps & Expeditions

We organize various camps and expeditions, including the Annual Training Camp (ATC), Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC),Indian Naval Academy Camp, Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat Camp, Nau-Sainik Camp, Advanced Leadership Camp, Republic Day Camp, Trek Camps and other specialized camps. These camps provide cadets with hands-on experience in different naval and military skills, survival techniques, and adventure activities.

Community Service

Our NCC unit actively participates in community service activities such as Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, tree plantation drive and awareness campaigns& rallies. These initiatives help cadets develop a sense of social responsibility and empathy towards the community.

Skill Development

We offer training in various skills such as map reading, signaling, and seamanship. Cadets also get opportunities to participate in cultural activities, debates, and quizzes, which help in their overall personality development.

Achievements

Our cadets have consistently excelled in various state and national level NCC competitions and camps. They have brought laurels to the college by performed in various drill, shooting, sailing, swimming and other events.

Enrollment

Students interested in joining the NCC unit, newly admitted students of first year can contact the NCC CTO at Narmada College of Science & Commerce. The enrollment process typically begins at the start of the academic year. Cadets are selected based on their physical fitness, interest, and commitment to the values of NCC.
