Role & Functions of the Committee

  1. Scholarship Awareness: Inform students about NEST (National Employability Scholarship Test) and available scholarship schemes.
  2. Registration Support: Assist students in registration, application filling, documentation, and online procedures.
  3. Eligibility Verification: Verify student details, academic records, and eligibility criteria before submission.
  4. Coordination with NEST Authority: Communicate with organizing bodies, ensure proper updates, and manage official correspondence.
  5. Scheduling & Planning: Organize meetings, orientation sessions, and deadlines related to the scholarship process.
  6. Examination Arrangements: Provide logistical support for NEST exams if conducted on campus (rooms, seating, invigilation).
  7. Awareness Programs: Conduct seminars, presentations, and notice board/WhatsApp announcements regarding NEST opportunities.
  8. Reporting: Prepare annual reports on participation, results, and achievements for Principal/IQAC.
  9. Approval of Activities: Approve awareness drives, student lists, schedules, and exam arrangements.
  10. Monitoring & Supervision: Oversee registration, verification, and documentation processes carefully.
  11. Documentation Review: Ensure accuracy and proper maintenance of student scholarship records.
  12. Reporting to Principal/IQAC: Present progress reports, participation statistics, and outcome summaries.
  13. Motivation & Guidance: Encourage maximum student participation and promote scholarship benefits.
  14. Student Assistance: Help students fill out forms, upload documents, and complete registration steps.
  15. Data Collection: Collect academic credentials, ID proofs, and verify required documents.
  16. Awareness Campaigns: Spread information through notices, displays, classroom visits, and online channels.
  17. Record Maintenance: Maintain lists, attendance, copies of applications, and digital data records.
  18. Follow-Up: Keep track of exam dates, results, and communicate updates to students.
  19. Quality Assurance: Ensure that information shared is accurate, updated, and transparent.
  20. Support to Chairman: Assist in preparing reports, sending notices, and completing official communication.
