Role & Functions of the Committee
- Overall Leadership â Heads the Research Committee and oversees all research-related activities, policies, and initiatives.
- Policy & Guidelines â Approves research policies, ethical guidelines, and compliance with university/UGC standards.
- Resource Allocation â Sanctions funds, equipment, and infrastructure for research projects and laboratories.
- Coordination â Acts as liaison between Principal, faculty, departments, and external research organizations.
- Program Approval â Authorizes seminars, workshops, training, conferences, and funding proposals.
- Documentation & Reporting â Maintains records of research proposals, approvals, projects, publications, and annual reports.
- Grievance Oversight â Addresses disputes or issues related to research ethics, plagiarism, and project conduct.
- Project Support â Assist faculty and students in submitting research proposals, funding applications, and project reports.
- Monitoring Progress â Track the progress of ongoing research, provide guidance, and suggest improvements.
- Publication Assistance â Support in publishing research papers, journals, and conference proceedings.
- Awareness & Training â Organize workshops, seminars, and training programs on research methodology, ethics, and tools.
- Record Maintenance â Maintain logs of projects, funding received, publications, and research achievements.
- Coordination with Departments â Ensure smooth execution of departmental research initiatives.
- Evaluation & Feedback â Review research outputs and provide constructive feedback for quality improvement.
- Promote research culture, innovation, and academic excellence among faculty and students.
- Facilitate funding, guidance, and infrastructure for quality research projects.
- Ensure ethical compliance, plagiarism prevention, and academic integrity in research.
- Maintain accurate records of projects, publications, and research achievements.
- Organize seminars, conferences, workshops, and training programs to enhance research skills.
- Encourage collaborations, networking, and knowledge sharing with external agencies.
- Monitor and evaluate research outcomes for continuous improvement and reporting to IQAC/NAAC.
