Role & Functions of the Committee

  1. Overall Supervision – Provides leadership and oversees the smooth functioning of the Student Service Centre.
  2. Policy & Guidelines – Approves services, initiatives, and programs for student support and welfare.
  3. Resource Allocation – Sanctions infrastructure, manpower, and financial support for effective operation.
  4. Monitoring & Review – Evaluates the performance of services, programs, and student satisfaction.
  5. Grievance Oversight – Receives escalated student complaints and ensures timely redressal.
  6. Coordination – Liaises with Principal, departments, committees, and external agencies for student-related services.
  7. Documentation & Reporting – Maintains oversight of records, service logs, and annual reports for audit and IQAC compliance.
  8. Program Approval – Authorizes workshops, counselling sessions, career guidance, and skill development initiatives.
  9. Student Support – Assist students in academic, career, and personal queries.
  10. Service Implementation – Conduct activities such as counselling, mentoring, workshops, and guidance sessions.
  11. Grievance Handling – Receive complaints, record details, and support resolution in coordination with Chairman.
  12. Information Dissemination – Provide updates about scholarships, job notifications, internships, and academic resources.
  13. Record Maintenance – Maintain registers, service logs, attendance, and activity reports.
  14. Coordination – Liaise with faculty, departments, and external experts for smooth service delivery.
  15. Awareness & Communication – Promote awareness of Student Service Centre facilities among students.
  16. Monitoring Feedback – Collect student feedback and suggest improvements to enhance service quality.
  17. Provide academic, career, and personal support to all students.
  18. Conduct counselling, skill development, and career guidance programs.
  19. Serve as a single-window facility for student queries and grievances.
  20. Maintain accurate records and documentation for services provided.
  21. Facilitate student welfare schemes, scholarships, and internships.
  22. Ensure timely redressal of grievances and follow-up actions.
  23. Promote student engagement, participation, and empowerment through workshops and programs.
