Role & Functions of the Committee

  2. Policy & Planning – Approves placement strategies, annual placement calendar, and guidelines for campus recruitment drives.
  3. Coordination – Acts as liaison with Principal, departments, industry representatives, and training organizations.
  4. Resource Approval – Sanctions budget, infrastructure, and technological resources for placement activities.
  5. Monitoring & Evaluation – Reviews placement statistics, student participation, and effectiveness of training programs.
  6. Grievance Oversight – Addresses complaints, concerns, or issues related to placement drives or training.
  7. Documentation & Reporting – Ensures maintenance of placement records, employer contacts, and annual reports.
  8. Program Approval – Authorizes workshops, career guidance sessions, mock interviews, and skill development initiatives.
  9. Student Support – Guide students in preparing resumes, cover letters, and professional profiles.
  10. Training & Skill Development – Organize workshops on soft skills, aptitude tests, communication, and interview preparation.
  11. Employer Coordination – Liaise with companies and organizations for internships, campus drives, and placement opportunities.
  12. Record Maintenance – Maintain lists of participating students, placement offers, and feedback from employers.
  13. Awareness Activities – Conduct awareness sessions on career opportunities, higher education options, and job market trends.
  14. Mock Interviews & Aptitude Tests – Arrange practice sessions to prepare students for recruitment processes.
  15. Feedback & Improvement – Collect feedback from students and employers to improve placement initiatives.
  16. Event Coordination – Assist in conducting placement drives, job fairs, and career guidance events smoothly.
