Role & Functions of the Committee

  1. Overall Administration of Examinations – Supervises planning and smooth conduct of all internal and external examinations.
  2. Policy & Compliance – Ensures adherence to University guidelines, UGC norms, and institutional examination rules.
  3. Exam Scheduling Approval – Reviews and approves timetables, seating arrangements, block allocations, and supervision duties.
  4. Coordination with Principal – Communicates key requirements regarding manpower, resources, and security measures.
  5. Confidential Work Supervision – Oversees handling of question papers, answer books, and confidential materials.
  6. Monitoring & Review – Evaluates the functioning of the exam cell, internal assessment processes, and record maintenance.
  7. Documentation – Ensures proper preservation of exam records, result sheets, and reports for audit and compliance.
  8. Exam Preparation Support – Assist in preparing timetables, block lists, invigilation schedules, and student seating arrangements.
  9. Conduct of Examinations – Ensure discipline, punctuality, and smooth functioning during internal and external exams.
  10. Invigilation Duties – Perform examination supervision with fairness, strictness, and adherence to exam rules.
  11. Question Paper & Answer Book Handling – Assist in printing, sealing, distribution, and collection of exam materials with confidentiality.
  12. Record Maintenance – Support documentation of attendance sheets, mark records, internal assessment data, and exam-related files.
  13. Result Preparation Assistance – Help in compiling marks, verifying results, and error-free submission of data to the university.
  14. Malpractice Prevention – Monitor examination halls to prevent unfair means and report irregularities.
  15. Logistics Support – Assist in arranging stationery, exam rooms, displays, notices, and required exam infrastructure.
  16. Conduct all internal tests, prelims, assignments, and practical examinations.
  17. Ensure strict confidentiality of question papers and exam materials.
  18. Coordinate external examinations as per university circulars and schedules.
  19. Maintain detailed exam records, mark sheets, moderation files, and reports.
  20. Implement a smooth, transparent, and student-friendly exam system.
  21. Address all exam-related issues with fairness and prompt action.
  22. Prepare and submit data for audits, NAAC, IQAC, and university requirements.
